Pre-Owned Car Salesperson

We are looking for a driven sales performer with a positive attitude to work in our Used Car Sales division of our Company.

Requirements:

  • Retail Automotive Sales – 2 Years (Required)
  • High School Diploma or College Degree.
  • Active OMVIC license (Required).
  • Valid driver license with a good driving record.
  • Proficient in technology.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Excellent customer skills as well as outstanding communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high energy personality for our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell pre-owned vehicles on premises of vehicle sales establishment.
  • The salesperson is directly responsible for selling vehicles and must attend to a high level of exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction is obtained.
  • Greets customers on sales floor and dealership lot and determines make, type and quality of vehicle desired.
  • Explains features and demonstrates operation of the vehicles in the showroom or on the lot.
  • Computes and quotes sales price, taxes, trade-in allowance, license fees, insurance, and requirements for financing payments of vehicles on credit.
  • Arranges the financing for the customer for the vehicle being purchased.
  • Arranges for delivery and registration of sold vehicles.
  • Introduces customers to the service department personnel to emphasize to customers
    the quality and efficiency of the dealership’s service operations.
  • Must be able to appraise used vehicles for trade-in value and work with management to
    locate and purchase new product.
  • Responsible for implementing systems for displaying and merchandising the vehicles.
  • Ensures all demonstration vehicles are ready for test drives.
  • Must ensure that appropriate dealership records are maintained pertaining to the Car Sales Department.
